This year the WCSD STRETCH (gifted) program took three field trips that consisted of all 5 schools participating in the field trips.  First, on October 17 the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th graders traveled by Knight Coach Charter bus to the coast to the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, and had a picnic lunch.  Second, on October 24 the 5th graders traveled by Knight Coach Charter bus to the Armed Forces Museum at Camp Shelby, and then went to Ed's Burgers in Hattiesburg, MS for lunch.  The Third and final trip was January 30 for 6th, 7th, & 8th graders.  They traveled by Knight Coach Charter bus to the Marine Education Center in Ocean Springs, MS.  They also ate lunch at Shaggy's on the Beach in Biloxi, MS.  Thank you to everyone that made all three of these trips possible for our students.  We learned a variety of things on each trip, made memories, and had a great time.  Everywhere we went, our WCSD STRETCH students were complimented on their exceptional behavior.
